Hello there! I’m the Master-Mind of Soiréebliss! Events. My closest peeps would describe me as highly enthusiastic, outgoing with a boundless amount of energy, overly determined and passionate about weddings with “mad” creative skills.
At a very early age, I was naturally a highly creative person. At the early age of 10, I was confident I was going to be a cartoonist, which then led to me being a sketch artist. After taking an Introductory Interior Design class in high school, my career path was forever changed. I feel in love with all the details, colors and possibilities of creating different looks. Off to college I went with a clear focus on a career!
With a Bachelor of Arts degree from Indiana State, I pursued my design interest in Interior Design with my first career working for a home builder. My passion for event planning truly blossomed when I was given the opportunity to plan the sales meetings for the home builder. From that first event, I was smitten with the energy and creativity events can have. I knew from then on, that a career as an event planning was my passion and goal. It combined my creativity and energy and drive.
From then on, I took every opportunity to work with friends, family and volunteer opportunities to gain experience. I was the person all my friends and family turned to when it came to planning social events and weddings. I decided it was time to turn my passion into a business. Over the past 11 years I have planned large and small scale business meetings, corporate events, philanthropic, large scale running events and nearly 200 weddings.
For most people, planning an event of any size can be overwhelming, no matter the budget. That is where I come in! I have the unique ability to juggle all the planning details, implement the creative vision for the event, and the ability think on my feet to handle all challenges that can and may arise (as they sometimes do with events), while displaying a high level of professionalism. When all is said and done, there is no greater pleasure for me than helping you make your event memorable.
Favorite Things:
*Coffee, coffee, coffee: Any and all kinds of lattes. I love trying new coffee shops.
*Ironman racing and triathlons: I hope to still be able to compete when I’m in my 70’s.
*Being creative: Whether it’s creating a wedding design, painting a wall in my house or
a DIY project. It’s a thrilling feeling to develop something new and unique.
*My hubby and God: Without them nothing is possible!
